Roy Jutze

Roy became the pastor of New Hope Baptist Church in June 2019. He and his wife, Shelly, have been married for 44 years with two daughters and two granddaughters. After a lengthy career in the business world, Roy submitted his life to full-time ministry in 2018. He has a Bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University in Shreveport, Louisiana and a Master’s degree in Theological Studies from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth, Texas. Roy enjoys sports, fishing, hunting and being outdoors. He especially enjoys spending time with his family in all of these activities.

Daniel Severs

Daniel came to New Hope Baptist Church in May of 2019. He is a native of the Conway-Vilonia area and is also an assistant band director for the Greenbrier School District. Daniel has a passion for biblical and gospel-shaped worship and believes his role on Sunday mornings is to facilitate a dialogue between the triune God of the universe and His redeemed. His goal is to shepherd the church to be worshippers in every aspect of life. Daniel completed a Bachelor of Music Education and Master of Music from UCA, and is currently working on a Master of Arts in Worship Leadership from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Daniel lives near Conway with with his beautiful wife Nicole and their two kids. A couple of his hobbies include woodworking and riding horses.
